BIll McKibben (the author),is a well respected enviromentalist,/journalist/ who has written extensively about the effects of Global Warming since 1989. McKibben was instrumental in organizing the People's Climate March back in September of 2014. McKibben writing extensively discusses the connection between fracking, methane, and the effects both are having on global warming.
